There has been one fatality in a LSA, CEN13LA062, a 2008 Jabiru USA Sport Aircraft, LLC model J250-SP. It happened in 2012. The Jabiru uses a Bing Type 94 constant depression carburettor which is supposed to compensate for changes in altitude automatically. “Constant Depression” refers to the internal workings which adjusts the position of the needle according to the ambient air pressure (and thus altitude.).
